Source of light to illuminate the world,
Wellspring of insight to enrich our souls,
Be with us when we complete each day
And when we stir after hours of rest.
May the wonders we have seen
And will yet see in time to come
Ever renew our faith in You
And our hope for joy and fulfillment.
May the lessons we learn from our triumphs
And from the challenges we face
Demonstrate the value of Your teachings.
May the strength that comes from You
Through those around us who support us
Sustain us with love
And enable us to acknowledge Your Oneness
That holds together this world and our very lives.

As day turns to evening, and then to night,
With stars and planets gracing us with the glimmer of their presence,
And the moon illustrating the wonder of creation above
So that we can gain glimpses of the amazing world on which we live,
Be with us, Eternal God.
Walk by our side as we move through our lives.
Instill in us a sense of connection not only to the natural world
But to the people around us.
Guide us through the teachings that have been passed down to us
That lead us to act with decency, compassion, creativity and hope.
If the ways of Your Torah are pleasant, and if all of its paths are peace,
Then may we continually strive for contentment and tranquility
Seeing the best in others
As we want them to seek and recognize the best in us.
Only then will your Oneness flow through us
And bring us together in Your everlasting love.
