Our companion from one generation to the next,
Every day, we traverse towards
New milestones along the path of life,
Which recall moments of significance
From birth to maturity to further growth
As we gain fresh insights
And renewed spirit
From experiences that enrich our souls.
Give us light that will dispel the darkness around us.
Grant us strength for times of challenge.
Fill us with confidence and determination
To overcome cruelty and selfishness
By responding with kindness and generosity
That will swiftly spread from one heart to another.
Unite us so that the night will be as bright as noon
For all people on this world of ours.
In Your Oneness, may we continue to strive to be one.
